But it is kinda fun having a cesium atomic clock in my living room.Chip Overclockhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11195242013008369733noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-28344720.post-63907879262245871752021-03-05T12:22:43.633-07:002021-03-05T12:22:43.633-07:00Seeing how Jackson Labs doesn't have a price l...Seeing how Jackson Labs doesn't have a price listed for the CSAC GPSDO, I'm guessing the price is "you don't want to know"? :(Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-28344720.post-43096287237491301992017-05-20T15:20:33.272-06:002017-05-20T15:20:33.272-06:00Yes, I used the Newhaven part they listed (which i...Yes, I used the Newhaven part they listed (which is *not* the part in their photographs, at least mine looks different). I had to use the software command (though either the USB serial port or the RS232 serial port to the ARM micro controller) to change the contrast. It saves this persistently in NVRAM so you only need to do it once ever. After some experimentation, this is what worked best for Chip Overclockhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11195242013008369733noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-28344720.post-31974040533385271632017-05-20T15:16:06.274-06:002017-05-20T15:16:06.274-06:00Thanks for your write up. I bought the LCD screen they listed in the User Guide (Newhaven Display PN: NHD-0216K1Z-NSW-BBW-L). The blue backlight comes on but no text is ever displayed. I've tried adjusting the contrast and changing the page it's displaying using RS-232. Nothing seems to make a difference.<br /><br Dustin Nicholeshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07095071049724835336noreply@blogger.com
